2019: Flooding in the area was caused by elevated water levels in Cedar Run. Local news reported the flooding related to the underground stream that made it's way to the surface. 

 

 2020: Hurricane Ida brought flooding to the region. 





2023: Hurricane Debby brought flooding to the area. After weeks without rain or very little rain in the area, the remnants of Hurricane Debby made roadways impassible and brought devastation as visitors attempted to navigated flooded waters. 




Cedar Run is affected by extensive rains even when other waterways are not affected. The NOAA gauge closest to the Cedar Run is on the Yellow Breeches. While information is available, the information of the historic crests was not complete. The most recent event was not listed which had a significant impact on property, persons, and the environment.
