Tree of Heaven is an invasive species within the Cedar Run Watershed. Recently, efforts were made along the Cedar Run to remove Tree of Heaven and eliminate it as much as possible. Below is a short video on Tree of Heaven.
In the past few years, the Spotted Lanternfly made their appearance in the area. Tree of Heaven is the preferred food of the Spotted Lanternfly, although they will indulge on other species as well.
